POSITION OVERVIEW

We are seeking a proactive Software Developer with hands-on programming experience. In this role, you will leverage your expertise in .NET, ASP.NET, and SQL/SQL Server to develop, and maintain scalable applications. You will play a key role in managing our SQL environment data processing and transformation while also building and integrating RESTful APIs, XML/XSLT data transformations, and automation scripts using Powershell.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline (or equivalent experience).
  • 3+ years of professional programming experience.
  • Strong expertise in .NET, ASP.NET, and JavaScript.
  • Proven skills in SQL/SQL Server administration.
  • Experience with XML/XSLT, RESTful API design, and Powershell scripting.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD practices and tools.
  • Solid understanding of software engineering principles, design patterns, and best practices.
  • Proven experience with version control systems (e.g., Git)
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Experience working in agile development environments and participating in sprint cycles.
  • Must be available to work onsite at our Stamford, CT headquarters 5 days a week.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Build, and maintain high-quality software solutions using .NET technologies and ASP.NET.
    Develop robust client-side applications with JavaScript/HTML.
  • Manage SQL/SQL Server databases for data processing and transformation.
  • Programming interface using RESTful APIs to support integration with other systems.
  • Utilize XML/XSLT for effective data processing and transformation.
  • Write clean, scalable, and efficient code while adhering to best practices.
  • Create and manage automation scripts using Powershell for data management automation.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams including QA, product management, and design.
  • Participate in agile development cycles, code reviews, and continuous process improvements.
