UAT Software Tester
Remote/Stamford, CT
POSITION OVERVIEW
We seek a detail-oriented and experienced UAT Software Tester to join our QA team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that our software applications meet the specified requirements and provide a seamless user experience. This role involves working closely with developers, business analysts, and end-users to validate and verify software functionality before it goes live.

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in software testing, with a focus on User Acceptance Testing.
- Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and testing methodologies.
- Proficient in writing and executing test cases and scripts.
- Experience with defect tracking tools (ie: JIRA).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex issues clearly and effectively.
- Familiarity with automated testing tools and frameworks is a plus.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience in the concrete industry preferred.
- Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
POSITION DETAILS
- Develop and execute UAT test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on user requirements and business processes.
- Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to understand the application functionality and user expectations.
- Identify, document, and report defects, inconsistencies, and issues found during testing.
- Participate in requirement review sessions and provide feedback on testability and quality aspects.
- Work with developers to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
- Ensure test environments are set up accurately and are reflective of production settings.
- Provide clear and concise testing status reports to project stakeholders.
- Assist in the development and maintenance of automated UAT scripts and tools.
