Warren’s Ready-Mix Builds a Scalable, Risk-Reduced Operation with Sysdyne
Founded in 2021, Warren’s Ready-Mix has grown rapidly across the greater Houston, Texas market. With 36 trucks and multiple plants serving customers throughout the region, the company needed a technology platform that could scale alongside its operations while maintaining quality, visibility, and efficiency.
The Challenge: Managing Rapid Growth Without Increasing Risk
Like many growing producers, Warren’s Ready-Mix initially relied on manual processes to manage operations. Projects were entered multiple times across spreadsheets, dispatch systems, and invoicing workflows, creating inefficiencies and increasing the risk of human error.
One of the company’s biggest concerns was maintaining confidence in mix accuracy throughout the quote-to-delivery process. Delivering the wrong concrete mix could create significant financial and operational risk, especially for a fast-growing company.
“As we looked to grow, we knew that wasn’t a sustainable way of operating,” said Nathan Wilkes, CEO of Warren’s Ready-Mix. “One of the biggest things for us was controlling quality and making sure customers received exactly what they signed up for.”
The company also lacked visibility into pricing, operational metrics, and overall efficiency, making it difficult to scale confidently.
The Solution: An Integrated Platform
To support its growth, Warren’s Ready-Mix implemented Sysdyne Technologies’s ConcreteGo platform alongside Slabstack CRM and quoting tools. Together, the systems created a fully integrated workflow from quote to dispatch.
By entering order information once at the CRM and quote level, Warren’s eliminated redundant manual data entry and significantly reduced the opportunity for costly mistakes.
“When a customer signs off on a mix design in Slabstack, we know that’s exactly what will be dispatched, batched, delivered, and invoiced,” Wilkes explained. “It flows through the system seamlessly.”
The company also benefited from ConcreteGo serving as a centralized “system of truth” that integrates with other operational platforms, including inventory, accounting, and materials systems.
Warren’s has since added DeliveryGo, Delivery Sensors, and BatchGo, receiving even greater synergy within their end-to-end operations.
The Results: Visibility, Confidence, and Scalability
With Sysdyne in place, Warren’s Ready-Mix gained real-time operational visibility across plants, dispatch, batching, scheduling, and delivery operations. Leadership can now monitor activity from anywhere using the cloud-based platform.
The biggest benefit, according to Wilkes, has been confidence.
“ConcreteGo gave us confidence in our system,” he said. “We know what we’re giving our customers is exactly what they asked for.”
The platform also simplified and expedited expansion as Warren’s added new plants and services. Because the system is cloud-based and standardized across operations, onboarding new locations became much faster and easier.
Beyond operational efficiency, Warren’s has leveraged ConcreteGo’s business intelligence reporting to improve forecasting, inventory management, production planning, and performance tracking.
“It’s probably one of the best BI reporting systems I’ve ever seen,” Wilkes said. “We can track metrics, increase efficiencies, and make better operational decisions across the company.”
A Trusted Growth Partner
Warren’s Ready-Mix credits Sysdyne’s onboarding, training, and support teams as a major factor in the successful transition and continued growth of the company.
“The systems are well made, well integrated, and the support is phenomenal,” Wilkes said. “They know the industry, they listen to us, and they help us solve problems. We truly couldn’t have done it without them.”
Today, Warren’s Ready-Mix operates with a scalable, cloud-based foundation that reduces risk, improves communication, and gives the company the confidence to continue growing throughout the Houston market.
