Solutions Engineer

Overview

The Solutions Engineer will help deliver innovative SaaS solutions to our customers. In this role, you will combine technical expertise with customer engagement, working closely with sales, and product teams to design. This individual will report to the Interim VP of Post Sales Operations.

Key Responsibilities

- Partner with sales and customer success teams to understand customer needs and technical environments.

- Act as a trusted technical advisor to customers throughout their journey.

- Collaborate with product and engineering teams to share customer feedback and improve offerings.

- Conduct in-depth product demonstrations and technical presentations to prospective clients.

- Lead and manage Proof-of-Concept (POC) and pilot projects, including planning, execution, and successful customer validation.

- Assist in crafting proposals, RFP responses, and technical documentation to support the sales process.

Preferred Qualifications

- Understanding of dispatch, batching, ticketing, or plant operations.

- Understanding ERP systems.

- Understanding of cloud-based architecture and SaaS platforms.

Qualifications

- 2–5+ years of experience in solutions engineering, SaaS, or technical consulting.

- Experience in the ready-mix concrete industry.

- Excellent communication skills with the ability to simplify complex technical concepts.

- A problem-solving mindset and customer-first approach.

Travel & Expectations

- Ability to travel up to 50% for client meetings, onsite implementations, and industry events.

- Flexibility to work occasional weekends.
