O&G Industries Celebrates 100 Years in Business

Sysdyne Proud To Be Partner of Over a Decade

O&G Industries is a fourth generation, family-owned construction services and materials business based out of Connecticut (also Sysdyne’s home state). 100 years ago back in 1923, partners Andrew Oneglia and Flaviano Gervasini built their small business based on the simple principles of integrity, hard work, and excellence in craftsmanship.

Today, in addition to their ready-mix division, O&G also operates 9 asphalt plants, 4 quarries, and offers construction management, general contracting, as well as heavy highway construction, and bridge building services. They are the state’s largest privately-held construction company, one of the country’s Top 400 Contractors, and a Top 100 Green Building Contractor.

With much industry consolidation going on at the time roughly a decade ago, O&G Industries had been a control solutions and auto control customer before their acquisition, and TJ Oneglia, VP of Construction Materials, was in the search for an alternative provider. It was then that their relationship with us began back in 2010. Initially, O&G implemented our batch control system for use on one plant but after positive feedback from that batch operator about our system’s reliability and ease of use, O&G Industries began to upgrade their plants one by one.

As the pioneer of CloudBatch, the O&G Team enjoys standardization and uniformity across their 8 ready-mix plants, remote cloud access to batch data and plant performance without having to physically be onsite, and more! In addition to CloudBatch, they later implemented our ConcreteGO dispatch software and iStrada for GPS & delivery management. TJ Oneglia walks through his decision making process in choosing to work with Sysdyne and discusses our full-suite interoperability here (for more on interoperability with Sysdyne, check out the recording from our recent webinar).

We thank the O&G Team for choosing Sysdyne and once again offer our congratulations on 100 incredible years. We look forward to working together for many more to come! To learn more about O&G, visit their website at ogind.com.
