Overview
We are seeking a driven and enthusiastic Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join our growing sales team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for prospective customers, responsible for generating and qualifying new business opportunities that fuel our pipeline. You will work closely with Account Executives to identify, engage, and nurture leads through the early stages of the sales cycle.

We have a preference for candidates based in or near Stamford, Connecticut, but are open to candidates all over the country.
Key Responsibilities
- Prospect and identify new business opportunities through outbound outreach via phone, email, LinkedIn, and other channels
- Conduct thorough research on target accounts and key stakeholders to tailor outreach and messaging
- Engage decision-makers in meaningful conversations to understand their business challenges and articulate how our solutions can add value
- Schedule discovery calls and product demonstrations for Account Executives
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all activities and prospect interactions in CRM software (Salesforce)
- Meet and exceed weekly and monthly KPIs, including outreach volume, qualified opportunities, and pipeline contribution
- Collaborate with marketing and sales leadership to refine messaging, personas, and outreach sequences
- Participate in regular training sessions, team meetings, and professional development activities
- Experiment with new and novel approaches to engage our target audience
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Communications, Marketing, or a related field — or equivalent practical experience
- 1–3 years of experience in sales, business development, customer service, or a related role; prior SDR experience is a plus
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a professional, confident demeanor
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage a high volume of outreach while maintaining quality
- Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and resilient with a positive attitude toward feedback and continuous improvement
- Familiarity with Salesforce and sales engagement tools (Zoominfo, sales cadence tools)
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment while also executing independently
- Genuine curiosity, a hunger to learn, and a passion for building a career in sales

There are no travel requirements associated with this role. This position is based locally and does not involve domestic or international travel obligations.
