Sysdyne Staff Spotlight: Ryan Auton

The company is proud to introduce Ryan Auton, Project Manager/Application Specialist:

Originally from North Carolina, I now make my home in Charleston, South Carolina. I attended undergrad in Wilmington, North Carolina and completed my Masters at The University of South Carolina. After working in government to start my professional career I made the transition to the technology field 6 years ago and haven’t looked back since.

I come from a background where I’ve worked with many different software mediums including CRMs, Front End Websites, Relational Databases, Mobile and Web applications, Help Desk Softwares, and Statistics Programs among others. Having a wide and deep knowledge base allows me to tackle unique issues and gives insight to solutions that might not be apparent on the surface.

I’ve been with Sysdyne since September of 2021. At Sysdyne I’ve had the opportunity to travel across the country to meet with customers face to face to discuss how Sysdyne is meeting their software needs and to assess both issues and opportunities for growth. Being on site gives us both immersive industry experience and allows us to build rapport with our customers in a way that other mediums of communication can’t always match. Being able to be at a location in real time lets our customers know that we’re willing to invest in their success and tie their progress to our own as a company.

I’ve also been able to deal extensively with Go-Live projects in my time with the company. These involve getting new users implemented and off the ground with their new products and services. I’ve thoroughly enjoyed educating new users. Teaching them the ins and outs of navigating a system that will save them time and money on the back end across the board.

Additionally, a lot of my efforts have been concentrated in building documentation for our system and company. Documentation seeks both to educate as well as to formalize our processes so that we have good guidance for our project work as well as day to day issues. Being able to expand our documentation library to completely detail our systems and processes as well as to provide customer facing guidance is one of the new developments within the company that I’m very excited about continuing to pursue and is beneficial to both our company and those we serve.

I’m excited for what we are developing in terms of Cloud Batch and other new releases for the rest of 2022 and beyond. I’m very excited for the journey I get to continue with our customers and to see how what we’re doing can help their businesses grow and prosper!
