Sysdyne Staff Spotlight: Daniel R. Barrón

The company is proud to introduce Daniel R. Barrón, Project Manager and Application Specialist:

“It all started for me in San Antonio, TX. Fast forward through the high school years, I met my wife Gina at Auburn University, and we’ve been together for more than 27 years. Raising five children, there is never a dull moment!

I have been with Sysdyne Technologies for four years this September. As an Implementation Manager I truly enjoy learning about what our customers aim to accomplish with their business. Knowing that I will be part of the team that will implement, help input data, and train employees to accomplish their goals is very satisfying. In addition to helping via online Support, as an Application Specialist, I help customers by answering questions about our software. It is always rewarding when I get a chance to visit a customer and be with the folks that are the “boots on the ground”, entering orders, batching, loading trucks, tracking trucks, and so forth – We are building America!

With Sysdyne Cloud solutions working together, we provide concrete producers the tools they need to help supply their customers and make the most profit. When I’m onsite and able, I like to show our clients some shortcuts, reports or other details on the tracking screen that will simplify their job.

While traveling with my children, there are times I will ask them to point out everything they see made using concrete – When I tell them that literally EVERY building, EVERY home foundation, EVERY bridge and many roads are made using concrete they start to understand the importance of concrete and how America is built. It’s great when we pass by one of our many customers and I’m able to tell the family ‘that’s our customer, I helped set the software up, I help them make money, and I help them resolve issues.’

Having the opportunity to assist our international customers is even more fulfilling for me. Talking to business owners and project leaders in Spanish is very beneficial – Different cultures utilize different business models, which I find very interesting. The business standards in the US may not be the same in South America. Being able to understand this and set up the software to their specific needs helps them take advantage of our software and provide better services to their customers, deliver quality concrete on time, and turn a profit.

Thanks to my great colleagues, managers, and the goal we share to provide a quality product that helps our customers succeed, I truly enjoy working here. Because of this goal, we have an internal business process called New Feature Request (NFR), allowing customers to suggest an important change or update to our software that would help facilitate the concrete ordering, dispatch, batching, reporting or invoicing process. Upon review by Management, if the request seems likely to benefit most of our customers, the software change will be implemented at no cost. As a company, we are committed to helping our customers succeed by providing excellent service.

It is good to know that Sysdyne Technologies is the company many concrete producers are partnering with to provide sales and services to their customers in the era of constantly changing technology, new building materials, and environmental concerns. I love being a part of this team and helping our customers every way I can.”
