Project Manager

Position Overview

As a Project Manager you will work within cross functional teams to ensure all project requirements are on schedule and on track. You will plan, budget, oversee, and document all aspects of specific projects. You will submit project deliverables, prepare status reports, and effectively communicate project plans. This position can be based out of our Stamford, CT office or remote and will report to the Director of Customer Service.

Qualifications

Project Management Professional (PMP), preferred
Understanding of software development and software implementation projects
An IT certification such as CISM or CISSP, preferred
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, business, or a related field.
Over 5 years of project management experience.
Proven ability to work collaboratively and solve problems creatively.
Strong familiarity with project management software tools, methodologies, and best practices
Experience seeing projects through the full life cycle.
Excellent analytical skills and resourcefulness.
Strong interpersonal skills and requisite diplomacy to work with clients as well as internal team members
Proven ability to complete projects according to outlined scope, budget, and timeline
Ability to lead internal and external teams through influence
Self-driven and task oriented with proven ability to manage short-term and long-term expectations

Position Details

Determine and define project scope and objectives
Develop and manage a detailed project schedule and work plan.
Predict resources needed to reach objectives and manage resources in an effective and efficient manner.
Prepare timelines, resource requirements and budgets based on scope of work
Track project costs and timelines versus budget.
Provide project updates on a consistent basis to internal and external stakeholders and communicate progress and required adjustments as needed.
Utilize industry best practices, techniques, and standards throughout entire project execution.
Monitor progress. Work with internal and client management to adjust project plan as needed.
Measure project performance to identify areas for improvement.
Travel will be required as necessary
